1 1/2 tspWhole Cloves
43” Cinnamon Sticks
1Lemon, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients (apple cider, cranberry juice, brown sugar, whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, and lemon slices) in a large kettle or stockpot.
  2. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the cider simmer for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Use a slotted spoon to remove and discard the spices and cooked lemon slices.
  5. Serve warm in mugs. If desired, float a fresh lemon slice in each cup as a garnish.
