Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (apple cider, cranberry juice, brown sugar, whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, and lemon slices) in a large kettle or stockpot.
- Heat over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil and the sugar is dissolved.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the cider simmer for 15 to 20 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove and discard the spices and cooked lemon slices.
- Serve warm in mugs. If desired, float a fresh lemon slice in each cup as a garnish.
