Instructions
- Fill a highball or Collins glass with ice.
- Add one shot of tequila.
- Fill the glass almost to the top with orange juice and stir briefly.
- Slowly pour the half shot of grenadine over the back of a spoon or down the side of the glass. It will sink to the bottom.
- Do not mix; allow the grenadine to settle and create the layered “sunrise” effect.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry, if you like.
