Instructions
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh peach slices and the round orange slices.
- Sprinkle the powdered sugar over the fruit and stir gently to coat. Let the mixture sit for about 30 minutes. This process, called macerating, draws the juices out of the fruit.
- Pour the peach brandy and the chilled red wine into the pitcher. Stir everything together.
- Just before you are ready to serve, gently pour in the chilled club soda or seltzer water.
- Serve immediately in glasses filled with cracked ice. Garnish with the fruit slices from the pitcher and a sprig of fresh mint if desired.
