A very simple two-ingredient cocktail from a recipe by Phil. This drink, called a Tom Collins, is a classic Rum Sour made with rum and sweet & sour mix, served on the rocks or blended as a daiquiri.

Instructions
On the Rocks
- Place two large ice cubes in a highball or Collins glass.
- Pour one shot (1.5 ounces) of rum over the ice.
- Fill the remainder of the glass with sweet & sour mix.
- Stir gently and garnish with a pineapple slice or a cherry, if desired.
Daiquiri Style (Blended)
- In a blender, combine one shot of rum, 4-5 ounces of sweet & sour mix, and about a cup of crushed ice.
- Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy.
- Pour into a glass and garnish if you like.
Note
This recipe is titled “Tom Collins,” but its ingredients make it a classic Rum Sour. A traditional Tom Collins is made with gin, lemon juice, sugar, and club soda.
